Everstone Studio today announced that its open-world Wuxia ARPG Where Winds Meet will release "Qinchuan," the epic third and final chapter of the massive Hexi expansion, on April 30th (UTC). Following the unforgettable journeys through desert and snow mountains, this highly anticipated finale will introduce a dynamic four-season map with boundless grasslands, an all-new mystic traversal skill, challenging campaigns and world bosses, and a profound narrative conclusion.

The Echoes of Homecoming & Uncovering the Truth
As the concluding chapter of the Hexi expansion, Qinchuan brings the overarching theme of "homecoming" to its dramatic climax. Through three new side stories, including "Taiping Homecoming," players will piece together the truths hidden beneath the surface. What echoes will this long dream of homecoming leave behind? As the Hexi journey comes to a close, players will discover that these tales of encounters and bonds are inextricably linked to the main storyline—potentially unveiling the tip of the iceberg regarding the protagonist's own mysterious origins.
A Living Steppe: Four-Season Cycles & "Idle Wind"
The Hexi expansion has led wanderers through a diverse geographical evolution—from the shifting sands of Jade Gate Pass to the frozen citadels of Liangzhou. In its last phase, the journey reaches the vast, boundless grasslands of Qinchuan.
The Qinchuan region introduces a groundbreaking season-switching map where the vast steppe dynamically shifts through spring growth, summer flourish, autumn austerity, and winter stillness. These transitions deeply impact the environment: vegetation cycles, lighting tones, and the overall narrative ambience evolve with the passage of time. As players traverse this land, they are not only moving through space but drifting through time itself.
To navigate this living world, players will master the new Mystic Skill, "Idle Wind." and traverse these rolling plains with unprecedented agility.
Epic Campaigns & The "Snowplum Requiem"
Combat in Qinchuan introduces a comprehensive update with three intense new stronghold challenges. The centerpiece is the Sunken City Lake—once a bustling fortress and the vibrant gateway to Chang'an, teeming with merchants and heroes, before it tragically collapsed into the abyss overnight. Today, players must navigate its submerged ruins and shifting underwater hazards. Adventurers will also brave two additional trials: a disorienting waterscape where illusion and reality blur, and an oppressive, pitch-black campaign guided only by a solitary light.
In addition, the update unveil a breathtaking new world boss, the Snowplum Requiem. This deadly brother-sister duo seamlessly blends martial arts with musical mastery. When their melodies harmonize, the tempo accelerates into a devastating crescendo of sonic blades and sword strikes. Wanderers must disrupt their deadly rhythm, or risk being torn apart by a symphony of destruction in the snow.
Alongside these challenges, the update introduces a new team-based PvP mode alongside the Season 3 "Seek Within" kickoff.
